Customer Account Deletion Conditions
To delete your customer account, first ensure that you do not have:
Unfinished Service Orders
If you have unfinished domain orders in your account, cancel them according to the instructions Services – Terminate. To cancel other orders, contact customer support via the form. Include the names and types of services whose orders you want to cancel.
Active Services
Active services, including expired ones, prevent account deletion. You can remove them by:
- handing over the service to a new owner according to this guide. If you don’t want to transfer the service completely, just move it to another customer account;
- terminating the services according to this guide. By terminating the service, you will not delete it immediately, but you will significantly shorten the time between expiration and deletion (you can find more information in the article Services – Expiration).
Among the services that prevent customer account deletion are DNS records. These cannot be canceled like other services. If you don’t want to move them to another customer account (they typically move along with the corresponding domain), delete them by following these steps:
- Log into the customer administration panel.
- In the navigation bar, click DNS.
- Select the domain whose DNS you want to delete.
- Click the Delete button and confirm.
By deleting DNS records, you can disrupt the domain’s functionality. Make sure the domain itself is out of order, or using another provider’s DNS.
Credit Account Balance
Ask us to reset your credit account balance via the form. Requests are usually processed by the invoicing department within 1 working day.
Delete Customer Account
Follow these steps to delete your customer account:
- Log into the customer administration panel.
- In the navigation bar, click My Account Customer.
- In the left menu, click Delete Account.
- Click the Send Authorization Password button.
- Check your e-mail (including SPAM) and open the message with the authorization password.
- Enter the password, check the agreement and click Delete Account.
FAQ
Question: How do I find out what services I need to delete before deleting my account?
Answer: Until you meet all prerequisites, you will see a list of unfulfilled conditions instead of the deletion form.
Question: How do I terminate all services immediately?
Answer: We cannot stop the services immediately, we can only reduce the downtime to a minimum. Terminate services as usual and then send a request for immediate termination of services via the form. Immediate cancellation of domains is charged according to the price list. We can terminate hosting services (not domains) on the date of application, after which normal expiration rules apply.
