Each WEDOS CD has a specified expiration date – the date until which the service has been prepaid for by you. If you want to continue using the WEDOS Cloud after this date, you need to prolong it before the expiration date.
If you do not extend the WEDOS CD, it will turn off after its expiration and later it will be completely canceled and all of its data will be deleted.
Our system automatically issues a renewal order for all WEDOS Cloud services 15 days before their expiration and sends the customer a request for payment by e-mail. The service is extended upon receipt of payment to our account (or after successful online payment).
This pre-expiration behavior can be modified. To learn more, visit our article on ‘Setting the Expiration and Renewal of Services‘.
WEDOS Cloud can be paid for yearly or monthly and eventually also hourly (not yet available). If you want to change the length of the billing period, follow the instructions for Changing the Billing Period of Services.
If you are no longer interested in the WEDOS CD service and want to cancel the renewal order (let the service expire), read the procedure in the ‘Termination of Hosting Services‘ article.
The Manual Renewal of the WEDOS Cloud
The service can be manually extended at any time through the customer administration in the detail of each specific service, via the Renewal link in the left menu. It is possible to pay immediately from your credit account (if you use it and you have sufficient credit) or a payment request will be created and sent to you by e-mail.
Transfer Between Accounts and Unavailable Billing
After moving a service with an issued payment request to another account, the existing payment request will remain linked to the original customer account. In this case, change your billing information for the service and a new request for payment will be issued.
