This article deals with bulk domain registration. If you want to register domains individually, or without using a credit account, follow the guide Domains – Registration.
In this article, you will learn:
Bulk Domain Registration
To register domains in bulk, make sure you have sufficient credit in your credit account.
To enter the bulk domain registration interface, follow these steps:
- Log into the customer administration panel.
- In the navigation bar, select Domains.
- In the left menu, select Bulk Registration.
The bulk domain registration consists of 3 steps:
Select Services
In the first step, enter the domain names in the field, 1 domain per line.
All entered domains must be free and registrable via WEDOS.
If the list contains unregisterable domains, the system will warn you about them when you try to continue. To proceed to the next step of the order, delete the problematic domains from the list.
Setup
In this step, set individual registration periods, domain owner contacts for individual registries (if they don’t exist, you can create them using the create contact link), DNS servers and data processing consents.
Finalize
In the last step, check the entered data and complete the order.
Common Issues
Common issues with bulk domain registration include:
Unable to Register Domain
Issue: There is an error: Domain cannot be registered – domain.tld – Domain already registered, or domain blocked.
Cause: The domain is already registered with WEDOS or another registrar, or WEDOS does not support domain registration due to an invalid TLD or other circumstances (e.g. premium domains).
Solution: Remove the problematic domains from the list and submit the order without them.
FAQ
Question: Can I order domains in bulk without using a credit account?
Answer: Unfortunately, the automation process requires the credit account.
Question: Can I set a single contact for all domains?
Answer: If the domains use a single registry (e.g. EURid), yes. Otherwise, you need to create a new contact (albeit with identical data) for each registry separately. We recommend registering domains with the same TLDs in bulk.
