The WEDOS WebSite editor offers blocks and buttons which may call the user to an action. In the block list, there is a Call to Action category. The button may be used as a link to another page, as the button for a quick phone call or to write a new e-mail. It may be helpful for desktop and mobile users using any e-mail software (Outlook, Mail, Thunderbird, etc.).

  1. In the blocks list, choose the one that best matches your needs, or create a new one from components. We offer the Call to Action category, which should be perfect. Contact buttons are often included in the navigation bar.
  2. In the button settings please provide your e-mail address in the specified format:
    • mailto:your@email.com
  3. Save changes to the button, save the page and publish your website.

You can create a similar button anywhere on the page. Contact buttons are often included in the navigation bar. There are Call to Action blocks available. Using the button will launch the e-mail software on the visitor’s device with your e-mail address preset.
