WEDOS WebSite – Smartsupp live chat and chatbot


Live chat is a modern, fast and simple way to get in touch with your customers. You can talk to them directly on your website and help them with orders or they can ask you for assistance. There is also a chatbot available – frequently asked questions can be responded to instantly.

It works for all WebSite variants.

1. Start with creating a new account using the project’s official website. Obtain your unique chat box code. You can see it directly after registration, they’ll e-mail it to you and you can see it in your settings. Copy the code, please.

Obtain your chat box code in the service settings.

2. In the WEDOS WebSite admin go to Page settings (Nastavení stránky). The chat box code must be inserted into each page where you wish to use it.

Enter the page settings (Nastavení stránky) in the top right corner.

3. Insert the chat box code in the Page settings (Nastavení stránky) to the Insert Header (Vložit Header) field. Our system will insert the code between <head> and </head> tags. You can insert several different codes for similar services.

In the page settings use the Vložit Header fields and insert the whole embed code.

4. Save and publish your website. The chat box will be immediatelly available on your website.

By default the chat box is hidden in bottom right corner and wait for the customers.
You can predefine frequently asked questions, it helps to reduce your customer support load.
