Common Issues
Common problems with uninstalling an app include:
Cannot delete files
Issue: When trying to delete the old site folder from FTP, an error message appears, or undeleted files and folders remain on the server.
Cause: It could be a problem with file permissions, or an error on the FTP itself.
Solution: First, repair file permissions according to this guide and wait 10 minutes. Then try to delete the remaining folder/files again.
If files still cannot be deleted, or you cannot log into your account at all, please create a temporary FTP account for support and contact us. Include the Webhosting name (e.g. domain.tld), the FTP account name you are logging in with (e.g. w123456_admin), the name of the folder you are trying to delete and the error message text.
