You must use your own Windows Server image to install. We do not provide this software.
VPS HDD/SSD do not support Windows version 10 and above. You can install such an OS only on VPS ON according to the instructions VPS ON – Install Windows with VirtIO.

Install OS from Own ISO
If you want to install Windows on a VPS SSD or dedicated server, you need a custom ISO file of the installation media. If you have it ready, boot from it according to the VPS SSD – OS Image Installation guide.
After booting, go through the installation to the point where you have a choice of installation type. Here, select Custom.
VirtIO Hard Drive Management
If you don’t see any disks in the Windows installation destination menu, follow these steps:
- In the customer administration panel, mount VirtIO.
- Return to the installation and click the Load driver button.
- Click the Browse button and navigate to the /viostor folder.
- Find the driver corresponding to your OS.
- On the next screen, set up disk partitions.
By setting up disk partitions, you permanently delete the data that is on the disk.
Once the disk partition is complete, follow these steps:
- In the customer administration panel, unmount VirtIO and remount the Windows ISO (without rebooting).
- Click the Refresh button in the installation window.
- Select the disk you want to install on, and click the Next button.
Once the installation is complete, set up the Administrator password and log in.
Network Connection
Setting up a network connection consists of updating the network adapter driver and setting up the network connection.
Update Network Adapter Driver
Follow these steps to update your network card driver using VirtIO:
- In the customer administration panel, mount VirtIO.
- Open the Device Manager.
- Select the Ethernet Controller item with the yellow warning label.
- Click the Update Driver Software button and select manual install.
Look up the network adapter driver (typically in the D:\ drive) and install it.
Network Connection Setup
Complete the network connection by manually setting the:
- static IP address,
- subnet mask,
- default gateway,
- DNS servers.
You can find this information in the customer administration panel in the VPS detail, or in the VPS creation email notification.
Common Issues
Common Windows installation errors on a VPS SSD include:
Cannot Install Windows on a Disk Partition
Issue: There is an error message: Windows cannot be installed on this partition (error code 0x80300001).
Cause: There is no installation disk attached.
Solution: In the customer administration panel, disconnect VirtIO and reconnect the installation disk. Do not reboot. Then click the Refresh button in the installation and continue.

Answer: Unfortunately, we do not provide Windows installation files, and the management of the operating system (including installing any software not provided by us) is entirely under the customer’s purview.
