Domains and DNS
A domain is the name of your service on the Internet, and you practically cannot do without it. The DNS system then controls which server receives visitors to the website operated on the domain, and which handles email and other sub-services.
WEDOS offers dozens of domain extensions at favorable prices. Find yours using the search engine, or view the complete offer in our price list.
We currently offer DNS for free, even for domains that are not registered with us. If we don’t have the TLD you want on our list, you can still use our hosting services and DNS.

Web and Emails
The web and emails are among the most basic services we provide, so we have a rich offer of hosting for various specific requirements:
- Web hosting for WordPress and other content management systems, or your own HTML/PHP website: that’s Webhosting NoLimit. In addition to this basic plan, we offer the LowCost alternative for small applications with little to no performance demands, or, on the other side of the spectrum, NoLimit Extra offering maximum performance and stability. All Webhosting plans include email services.
- The simple block editor, WebSite, is for those of you who don’t want to install anything and manage it in a complicated way. Choose a template, add your own images and texts, publish. The basic version of the editor is free. Paid variants include email services.
- Emails only: Mailhosting is a service that only provides emails. You can use it if you run a website with another provider, together with WebSite Free, or if you don’t have a website at all.
- Web hosting with dedicated performance: WMS combines the performance of a VPS server with the Webhosting administrator interface. You can run even very demanding applications or a large number of websites here, without having to worry about the operation and security of the server itself.

Servers
If you need your own internet service solution and at the same time have enough experience with server management at the operating system level, we also have a range of services for you:
- Dedicated server is what it sounds like – you have it all to yourdelf. It runs on dedicated branded hardware in our datacenters.
- Cloud allows you to create your own virtual servers according to your current needs. It is an IaaS service that you can connect to your private cloud and other solutions.
Storage
Backing up your data is essential in times of a surge in cybercrime. We offer solutions for your websites as well as documents, photos and videos.
- For backing up any data, you can use WEDOS Disk. It is accessible via various protocols, so you can easily and automatically back up your device and website content. For Webhosting and VPS services, we provide Disk for backups free of charge.
- To share and collaborate within an cloud environment, use Cloud Disk (CD). Using the NextCloud software, you can easily connect this storage solution to your computer and phone and thus have your documents, photos and videos at hand at any time. In the basic version, we offer the service for free.
Security and Availability

- Basic availability monitoring is handled by the EWM domain add-on. You don’t have to set anything up, just turn it on and check your email from time to time, where the system will send you information whenever it detects a problem on the domain.
- Professional availability monitoring can be set up using the WEDOS OnLine system. Tailor your tests to exactly what, where, when and how often you want to check. You can then send notifications not only by email, but also by other channels.

Question: What is the service trial period?
Answer: That depends on the service:
● Domains and DNS have no trial period.
● You can terminate hosting services within 7 days of creation and we will refund your money, we also provide a 180-day money-back guarantee for them in case of demonstrably insufficient performance or other technical complications. ● Selected WEDOS Global Protection plans have a free 15-day trial period. This may differ when activated via a WordPress plugin.
