Forward from Mailbox

To forward email from a hosting mailbox, first open your mailbox settings by following these steps:

  1. Log into the customer administration panel.
  2. In the navigation bar, select Web & Email Hosting Webhosting, Mailhosting, WMS, or WebSite.
  3. Choose the service containing the mailbox, from which you want to forward.
  4. In the left menu, click Mailboxes.
  5. Click the magnifying glass icon next to the forwarded mailbox.

In the mailbox management interface, find the Redirect section and set up to 15 email addresses to which you want to forward mail (separate each address with a semicolon).

Checking the Delete forwarded messages option immediately and permanently deletes forwarded emails after sending. Messages deleted this way cannot be recovered.

Common Issues

Common mailbox redirection/forwarding issues include:

Undelivered Redirected Emails

Issue: Forwarded emails do not arrive in the destination mailbox.

Cause: The most common cause is incorrect DNS settings.

Solution: Check that your domain’s MX records are correctly directed to the hosting, and that the messages to the mailbox you are forwarding arrive without issues. Next, check your SPAM folder. If the emails are not there either, create an SPF record on the domain, or add WEDOS to an existing SPF record, according to the instructions Emails – SPF Record.
