Securing Customer Account Login
Logging into the customer administration panel is normally protected only by a password. To strengthen your security, you can add security via:
Confirm Login Email Notification
If you have enabled email notifications about logging into the customer administration panel, you can include a login confirmation link in that email.
This feature is only available to customers who have a verified phone number listed on their account.
Follow these steps to activate this feature:
- Log into the customer admin panel.
- In the navigation bar, select My Account Customer.
- In the left menu, click Account Security.
- In the Account Settings section, set the desired frequency of login email notifications and Require login confirmation using a link in the notification email.
- Click the Save Changes button.
You can send a login email notification:
- Always (On)
- On every login
- For the first time in an open browser
- On login from an unknown client (Important Only)
- If the browser or IP address changed since the last login
- If the browser or IP address aren’t recorded in login history
- Never (Off)
If you turn off the login notifications, you cannot use the confirmation link.

Active Session Logout
If you suspect that an unauthorized person has logged into your account, you can log out all active users of the customer administration panel using:
- A link in the login email notification (check the Confirm Login Email Notification chapter). The email will come from the address no-reply@wedos.com and the link is
https://login.wedos.com/logout-all/(specific_link_code)
. - A button in the customer adminitration panel.
To access the button, follow these steps:
- Log into the customer admin panel.
- In the navigation bar, select My Account Customer.
- In the left menu, click Account Security.
- In the Log Out of All Sessions section, click Logout All.
Login History Check
To check when and from where someone logged into your customer account, follow these steps:
- Log into the customer admin panel.
- In the navigation bar, select My Account Customer.
- In the left menu, click Login History.
In the table, you will get a quick overview of the status and origin of the login to the customer administration panel. You can get more details by clicking on the magnifying glass icon in the left part of the row.

Question: Can someone manipulate the services in my account without logging into my customer administration?
Answer: The services in your customer account can be manipulated by authorized users. Domain owners (according to the registry) can move their domains from another customer’s account to their own using the AUTH-ID.
